How To Customize Wall List

When you draw walls you have an option to choose different wall types from the nearby drop down box. When you click the Wall button, the program will use the first wall type in the list. Once you become used to the program and comfortable with it, you may want to create custom wall types, or rearrange the existing wall type list so that the walls you use most frequently appear at the top of the list.

You can customize the list of wall types displayed with the the Wall settings button. This button allows you to easily alter the walls in your wall list (such as changing the default wall widths or colors). Those who do a lot of remodeling to interior office spaces, for example, will really find this handy. They could create several types of thin interior walls, or cubical walls tailored to their business.

To do this, open the Settings tab and click the Wall button. A window will appear that will enable you to customize your wall list. The wall editor dialog box gives you a lot of different options to use when editing your list of walls. To edit a wall, first click on it, then choose the appropriate changes. For example, you can type in a new description for the selected wall. When you want to apply your changes, just click Update. When you’re finished editing the wall list, click Close.
