Where do I copy the symbol library file(s)?

 
Step 1    

Start up the program and switch to "Getting Started" mode.

Go to Options menu and uncheck the "Show All Features" menu. This will turn on the "Getting Started" mode.

Step 2    

Once you are in "Getting Started" mode, you should see a button "Open Example." Click on the button.

This will open up a File Open dialog which contains all of your example floor plan drawings and symbol files.

This dialog will show you the exact location where you want to copy the files. Open Windows Explorer, browse to the same folder and copy your symbol libraries (files with extension bpz).

Step 3    

Go to Options menu and check the "Show All Features" menu. This will exit the "Getting Started" mode.

Step 4    

Close and start up the program again and click on the Symbols button. Click on the <Select Library Below...> drop down to select and use one of the new custom libraries.
